“I’m Sorry We Lied” // Blood Orange

I’ve been hamming it up to the Blood Orange album off and on for the past several weeks. It’s totally hitting the spot and slowly taking over as my favorite album of 2011 (along with Strange Mercyand Days). The lyrics are spot on adorable (“Promised your papa to bring you home by nine / His watch, not mine”); and his simple, whispering just wraps itself around you and puts an extra jump in your step.
