The new Yellow Ostrich album is so good. I’ve been listening to “Daughter” quite a bit, especially. If you have the chance to catch these guys on the road, definitely do it. The instrumentation of the songs live is so powerful. It was cool to see them play so much of the new album at SXSW this year.

Not to mention that I had the nerve to walk up to Alex Schaaf and awkwardly plead for him to play “Mary.” Huzzah!
